I'm getting asked this a lot - what's up with phatphiles.org? Well, I suppose it's time to announce it: phatphiles is no more. The cost of running phatphiles was growing. Phish would not allow us - in any way shape or form - to accept money, even donations, or display ads, in conjunction with offering downloads. As a result, bringing you the best music simply became an impossiblity. sethadam1.com will live on, but I don't know in what capacity. I may simplify the hell out of the thing, maybe make it a basic user-maintained link farm or a picture gallery, or I may go back to the old style of ft 1.0: offering one weekly featured song. I'm about to release version 3 of Flip, and the ftweblog, as the development ground, gets its periodic upgrade as a response. Generally, this means I start using it again, which is exciting. If you care to pipe in on any conversation, by all means, register for an account and jump in!

Flip 3.0 is coming along, and I'm preparing to release the last beta before the release candidate. I intend to complete it this weekend. That's all. Is it bad that I just wanted to post this so the weblog wasn't dead.

Well, my e-mail came yesterday informing me that I got my tickets for the 28th, 29th, and 30th, but I got shut out for NYE. How well did you fare?
